Up to the end of their production probably more M7's were sold than all the rest of Foster/Fostex models. I must have procured 5 or 6 pair over the course of my family's ownership of associate franchise B-204.

In more recent years Fostex has offered some active monitors that are very similar to M7's in form, but probably take it up a notch with their sound in the PM0.3 and PM0.4. Also offer a matching active subwoofer.
